Project Based Voucher Program Waiting List Opening

Decatur Housing (DH) will open its Project Based Voucher Program (PBV) waiting list online for Village at Legacy I and II.


WHO: To be eligible for the Project Based Voucher Program the applicant family must:

  • Qualify as a family as defined by HUD and the PHA
  • Have income at or below HUD-specified income limits.
  • Qualify on the basis of citizenship or eligible immigrant status of family members.
  • Provide social security number information for household members as required.
  • Consent to the PHA's collection and use of family information as provided for in PHA-provided consent forms.
  • Not currently receiving a duplicative subsidy
  • Meet net asset and property ownership restriction requirements.


WHEN: The waiting list will be open from 12:01 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, through 11:59 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2025, on these two (2) days only. No applications will be accepted BEFORE or AFTER these dates and times. The online application is available 24 hours a day during the open period.


HOW: Applicants must apply online ONLY at www.decaturhousing.org and must provide a valid email address. Applicants may use a personal computer, public computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with internet access to apply.


Persons with a disability who cannot apply online without assistance may contact 404-270-2134 to request assistance, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, and Wednesday, April 16,2025 between the hours of 8:00 AM-5:00 PM during the open period only.


No paper applications will be available.
